Job Description

Dudley Council is looking for experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers to join their waste department. A Driver would also be responsible for supervising loaders. This is an ongoing agency role. Working hours may vary depending on the needs of the service. Key Responsibilities

• ✓Drive HGV/LGV vehicles over planned routes, delivering goods safely and on time
• ✓Complete tachograph records accurately and adhere to drivers' hours regulations
• ✓Conduct pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections (walkaround checks)
• ✓Ensure loads are secured correctly and within legal weight limits
• ✓Liaise with depot teams and customers regarding deliveries
