Job Description
Job Title: HGV Class 2/Forklift Driver Reporting to: Operations Manager General Role: To move materials/product safely and efficiently between the Warehouse & Production areas including loading / unloading delivery vehicles ensuring that orders are fulfilled and dispatched on time. Key Responsibilities
- ✓Drive HGV/LGV vehicles over planned routes, delivering goods safely and on time
- ✓Complete tachograph records accurately and adhere to drivers' hours regulations
- ✓Conduct pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections (walkaround checks)
- ✓Ensure loads are secured correctly and within legal weight limits
- ✓Liaise with depot teams and customers regarding deliveries
