Job Description
Van Driver Location: Welham Green AL9 7HF Shift: Monday to Friday Start time: 06.00 (45hrs per week) Pay Rate: £12.40 per hour plus South East Allowance £113.79 As a Biffa Van Driver the role holder will be reporting directly to the Transport Manager and will be responsible for the professional and efficient collection, transportation and disposal of customers’ waste. Key Responsibilities
- ✓Drive a company van for deliveries or collections across your route
- ✓Plan efficient routes using navigation tools and local knowledge
- ✓Keep the vehicle clean, fuelled, and in roadworthy condition
- ✓Liaise professionally with customers and clients on arrival
- ✓Complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects immediately
