Job Description

Salary Band - Band A - £24,309 increasing to Band C £28,415 once qualified and whilst driving a HGV. We have a fantastic opportunity to join our Operations Team and be trained (fully funded) to be a fully qualified Heavy Good Vehicle Driver and then join our new Domestic Food Waste service. Key Responsibilities

  • Drive HGV/LGV vehicles over planned routes, delivering goods safely and on time
  • Complete tachograph records accurately and adhere to drivers' hours regulations
  • Conduct pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections (walkaround checks)
  • Ensure loads are secured correctly and within legal weight limits
  • Liaise with depot teams and customers regarding deliveries
