Job Description
Responsibilities To follow all HGV driver & traffic laws. To operate the HGV in a safe and professional way in compliance with vehicle type specific RAMS. To drive long or short distances as required. To help plan schedules & routes with you line manager. To follow traffic reports and adapt routes as necessary. To conduct accurate & thorough pre-use defect/cleanliness inspections of your vehicle. To complete proof of deliveries on tablet. To ensure vehicle cab is kept in a clean & tidy conditio…
Key Responsibilities
- ✓Drive HGV/LGV vehicles over planned routes, delivering goods safely and on time
- ✓Complete tachograph records accurately and adhere to drivers' hours regulations
- ✓Conduct pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections (walkaround checks)
- ✓Ensure loads are secured correctly and within legal weight limits
- ✓Liaise with depot teams and customers regarding deliveries
