Job Description
Street Cleansing Driver/Operative 37 hours per week (Covering 7 days on a 37-hour rota basis between 6am - 10pm) Salary ranges from £25,989 to £28,598 27 days Annual Leave, increasing after 5 years’ service Local Government Pension Scheme The successful candidate will drive and operate a selection of cleansing vehicles including a jet wash unit, as well as undertaking general street cleansing duties, within the Borough of Hastings and St. Leonards. Key Responsibilities
- ✓Operate your assigned vehicle safely and in compliance with UK road laws
- ✓Follow all health, safety, and company policies at all times
- ✓Complete vehicle walkaround checks and maintain accurate driving records
- ✓Communicate effectively with your team, dispatch, and customers
- ✓Ensure timely completion of all assigned driving duties
