Job Description

We are recruiting for Permanent HGV Class 1 Drivers to work for our client in Derby. Your duties will include inter-depot trunking using a refrigerated double decker trailer. You will typically have 2 deliveries per shift but on occasion this may only be one delivery. There is no handball involved and you will driver brand new Mercedes vehicle. Key Responsibilities

• ✓Drive HGV/LGV vehicles over planned routes, delivering goods safely and on time
• ✓Complete tachograph records accurately and adhere to drivers' hours regulations
• ✓Conduct pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections (walkaround checks)
• ✓Ensure loads are secured correctly and within legal weight limits
• ✓Liaise with depot teams and customers regarding deliveries
