Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a Bendi Driver in LeicesterHours are: 6am-2pm/2pm-10pm Monday to Friday - Weekly rotationalPay rate: £13-£14 per hour DOE plus £10 per day shift allowance (Equating to £14.25 or £15.25 per hour)Contract: Temporary to PermanentWe are looking for someone with at least 2 years experience operating a bendi truck Valid Bendi/Pivot Steer license - You must also have your own copy of this. Key Responsibilities
- ✓Drive HGV/LGV vehicles over planned routes, delivering goods safely and on time
- ✓Complete tachograph records accurately and adhere to drivers' hours regulations
- ✓Conduct pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections (walkaround checks)
- ✓Ensure loads are secured correctly and within legal weight limits
- ✓Liaise with depot teams and customers regarding deliveries
