Job Description

Mainstay are recruiting for LTD HGV Class 2 Drivers for our client in the Garretts Green, Birmingham area. The work consists of either general haulage or automotive , using either a HGV class 2 curtain-sider or flat-bed . Runs generally involve 5-7 deliveries with minimal manual handling . Shifts tend to start between 04:30 and 07:30 .1-2 nights out per week. Potential weekly earnings between £950 - £1,050. Key Responsibilities

• ✓Drive HGV/LGV vehicles over planned routes, delivering goods safely and on time
• ✓Complete tachograph records accurately and adhere to drivers' hours regulations
• ✓Conduct pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections (walkaround checks)
• ✓Ensure loads are secured correctly and within legal weight limits
• ✓Liaise with depot teams and customers regarding deliveries
