Job Description

We are looking to recruit a Non LGV Driver/Loader/Sweeper/Recycler. As part of your job you would be expected to: Manually sweep, litter pick and empty litter bins Able to drive a non LGV vehicle (up to 3.5 tonnes) Collect refuse sacks, wheelie bins, recycling containers or special collections Work on trade or domestic refuse & recycling rounds See that refuse/recycling rounds or sweeping schedules are completed satisfactorily The post is predominantly based in the Barnstaple area, but can cove…

Key Responsibilities

• ✓Drive HGV/LGV vehicles over planned routes, delivering goods safely and on time
• ✓Complete tachograph records accurately and adhere to drivers' hours regulations
• ✓Conduct pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections (walkaround checks)
• ✓Ensure loads are secured correctly and within legal weight limits
• ✓Liaise with depot teams and customers regarding deliveries
