Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION To undertake duties connected with the removal of domestic, commercial and industrial refuse from all types of locations by working as part of a team to carry out waste collection. To undertake driving duties involving LGV refuse collection vehicles, recycling, street cleaning and other waste management vehicles. To be responsible for the crew and the vehicle on a daily basis. Key Responsibilities

• ✓Drive HGV/LGV vehicles over planned routes, delivering goods safely and on time
• ✓Complete tachograph records accurately and adhere to drivers' hours regulations
• ✓Conduct pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections (walkaround checks)
• ✓Ensure loads are secured correctly and within legal weight limits
• ✓Liaise with depot teams and customers regarding deliveries
