Job Description

Driver Trainer (LGV/HGV) Location: Leicester Depot Salary: £40,000 A quick look at the role To support the safe and effective running of day-to-day operations of a Depot by ensuring all drivers are trained to a high standard. Key Responsibilities

• ✓Drive HGV/LGV vehicles over planned routes, delivering goods safely and on time
• ✓Complete tachograph records accurately and adhere to drivers' hours regulations
• ✓Conduct pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections (walkaround checks)
• ✓Ensure loads are secured correctly and within legal weight limits
• ✓Liaise with depot teams and customers regarding deliveries
