Job Description

LGV Class 1 Driver Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time) Working Hours and Shift Pattern Average 32 hours per week with potential for overtime 7 week rotating pattern incorporating days, nights and weekends Selection Criteria: Essential: Candidates must: Hold a current LGV class 1 (C&E) license Have a minimum of 2 years experience of class 1 driving Hold a valid CPC licence Desirable; An ADR (classes 2 and 3) Previous tanker experience Previous Fuels experience and PDP are not required as full t…

Key Responsibilities

• ✓Drive HGV/LGV vehicles over planned routes, delivering goods safely and on time
• ✓Complete tachograph records accurately and adhere to drivers' hours regulations
• ✓Conduct pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections (walkaround checks)
• ✓Ensure loads are secured correctly and within legal weight limits
• ✓Liaise with depot teams and customers regarding deliveries
