Job Description
Our client, a national logistics company based in Gloucester, urgently require experienced Class 1 drivers for their day shift. Location is easily reachable from Gloucester city centre Hours and Rate of Pay Monday-Friday 10am starts £16 per hour The Role Delivering palletised stock Day runs Well organised operation with planned routes A driving assessment will be required prior to starting Valid Class 1 (CE) licence Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card New passes considered The Best Connection…
Key Responsibilities
- ✓Drive HGV/LGV vehicles over planned routes, delivering goods safely and on time
- ✓Complete tachograph records accurately and adhere to drivers' hours regulations
- ✓Conduct pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections (walkaround checks)
- ✓Ensure loads are secured correctly and within legal weight limits
- ✓Liaise with depot teams and customers regarding deliveries
