Job Description
Our client based in Watford, is looking to strengthen its busy delivery team. They are looking for a part time 7.5tonne driver to help assist the operational needs of the business delivering glass. Would be working 2/3 days per week to start but permanent role after qualifying period. Key Responsibilities
- ✓Drive HGV/LGV vehicles over planned routes, delivering goods safely and on time
- ✓Complete tachograph records accurately and adhere to drivers' hours regulations
- ✓Conduct pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections (walkaround checks)
- ✓Ensure loads are secured correctly and within legal weight limits
- ✓Liaise with depot teams and customers regarding deliveries
