Job Description

LGV 2 Driver/Loader 3 Months Fixed Term Contract – Starting 28th June to 26th September 2026 Location: St Austell PL26 7DS Days of work: Monday to Friday Start/Finish times: 06.30 to 15.00 £17.35p/h Working as part of a crew, you will drive LGV waste collection vehicles, collecting and emptying bins, boxes and bags from householders and carrying out street cleansing activities such as sweeping and litter picking. Key Responsibilities

• ✓Drive HGV/LGV vehicles over planned routes, delivering goods safely and on time
• ✓Complete tachograph records accurately and adhere to drivers' hours regulations
• ✓Conduct pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections (walkaround checks)
• ✓Ensure loads are secured correctly and within legal weight limits
• ✓Liaise with depot teams and customers regarding deliveries
