Job Description

Staffline are currently recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers for our client, a leading Food Distribution client based in Barnsley, committed to delivering high-quality confectionary goods to various locations across the UK. As part of our growth, we are looking for skilled and dedicated HGV Class 1 drivers to join our team working full time and part time shifts across the week. We are looking for day drivers to start at 04:00 working Monday to Friday and night drivers to start between 15:00 and 18:00…

Key Responsibilities

• ✓Drive HGV/LGV vehicles over planned routes, delivering goods safely and on time
• ✓Complete tachograph records accurately and adhere to drivers' hours regulations
• ✓Conduct pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections (walkaround checks)
• ✓Ensure loads are secured correctly and within legal weight limits
• ✓Liaise with depot teams and customers regarding deliveries
