Job Description

HGV Yard Shunter Salary: £15.75 per hour (£32,760.00 basic per annum) 8am - 5pm (Monday - Friday) Heathrow Full time, Permanent Cordwallis Heathrow has a vacancy to join our Vehicle Movement Team in our HGV Division. This role will mainly involve vehicle movement in our very busy yard - getting vehicles ready for inspections, unblocking customers, ensuring that customers have parking options available as well as some MOT runs to local DVSA ATF sites and/or collection/deliveries. Key Responsibilities

• ✓Drive HGV/LGV vehicles over planned routes, delivering goods safely and on time
• ✓Complete tachograph records accurately and adhere to drivers' hours regulations
• ✓Conduct pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections (walkaround checks)
• ✓Ensure loads are secured correctly and within legal weight limits
• ✓Liaise with depot teams and customers regarding deliveries
