Job Description
HGV Driver / Field Operatives (Someone with HGV with a little bit of Operational skills) required for our public sector client, to work from Croft £13.91p/h but maybe increase depend on experience Hours: 7.00 – 3.30 (Mon-Thurs) 7.00 – 3.00 (Fri) however OT is certainly available. * Type of Vehicle: Curtain sider, double decker, flatbed etc. Could be road mender or 10T tipper, depending on work issued. * Type of load: Usually tarmac / often hot if on the road mender * Experience requirements: HG…
Key Responsibilities
- ✓Drive HGV/LGV vehicles over planned routes, delivering goods safely and on time
- ✓Complete tachograph records accurately and adhere to drivers' hours regulations
- ✓Conduct pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections (walkaround checks)
- ✓Ensure loads are secured correctly and within legal weight limits
- ✓Liaise with depot teams and customers regarding deliveries
