Job Description
HGV Driver Minimum Class C HGV Driver – Class 2 Location: Based out of Gillingham Hours: Covering Monday to Sunday but mainly Monday to Friday guaranteed 45hrs.Starting 5am - 6am finishing around 4pm -6pm Pay rate : £44,436.60 per year Please note: COOK will carry out driving licence checks to appointed drivers. Key Responsibilities
- ✓Drive HGV/LGV vehicles over planned routes, delivering goods safely and on time
- ✓Complete tachograph records accurately and adhere to drivers' hours regulations
- ✓Conduct pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections (walkaround checks)
- ✓Ensure loads are secured correctly and within legal weight limits
- ✓Liaise with depot teams and customers regarding deliveries
