Job Description

THE SCANIA DEALER FOR NORTHERN IRELAND REQUIRES THE FOLLOWING: HGV Driver - (Ref HGV/26/07) Based in Larne and reporting directly to the Workshop Supervisor, the post holder will be involved in the collection and delivery of vehicles, and the movement of vehicles to and from the MOT test centre. Key Responsibilities

• ✓Drive HGV/LGV vehicles over planned routes, delivering goods safely and on time
• ✓Complete tachograph records accurately and adhere to drivers' hours regulations
• ✓Conduct pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections (walkaround checks)
• ✓Ensure loads are secured correctly and within legal weight limits
• ✓Liaise with depot teams and customers regarding deliveries
