Job Description
The Lanes Group needs both HGV Class 1 or 2 Drivers to join our Rail division. The job: Due to continued growth and development, we are looking to recruit HGV Class 1 or 2 drivers to join us in our Rail Division, the role will involve reactive and planned works. About you: You will need to be familiar with high pressure jetting equipment, and preferably have drainage experience. Training will be supplied. Key Responsibilities
- ✓Drive HGV/LGV vehicles over planned routes, delivering goods safely and on time
- ✓Complete tachograph records accurately and adhere to drivers' hours regulations
- ✓Conduct pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections (walkaround checks)
- ✓Ensure loads are secured correctly and within legal weight limits
- ✓Liaise with depot teams and customers regarding deliveries
