Job Description
We are currenlty seeking to recruit a HGV C/Class 2 Driver to work with our Client on a temporary ongoing basis. Our Client is located in LE19. Shifts; Monday - Friday Start times; 06:00am (Approx 8 hours per day) Duties; Delivery to schools within the leicestershire area delivering stationary products. Use of a pump truck may be required as freight will need to be delivered into a room in the school. Criteria for the role; HGV C Licence - New passes excepted. No more than 5 points on licence. …
Key Responsibilities
- ✓Drive HGV/LGV vehicles over planned routes, delivering goods safely and on time
- ✓Complete tachograph records accurately and adhere to drivers' hours regulations
- ✓Conduct pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections (walkaround checks)
- ✓Ensure loads are secured correctly and within legal weight limits
- ✓Liaise with depot teams and customers regarding deliveries
