Job Description
HGV Driver (Kuehne and Nagel Contract): Job Type: Full Time, Permanent Location: Kuehne Nagel, East Midlands Gateway Working Hours: Shifts based on a guaranteed minimum of 48 hours per week. Plus, overtime and possible nights out for additional earnings. Salary: £40,560 per annum (£780 per week overtime) Benefits: Pay is weekly. 26 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays per year. Key Responsibilities
- ✓Drive HGV/LGV vehicles over planned routes, delivering goods safely and on time
- ✓Complete tachograph records accurately and adhere to drivers' hours regulations
- ✓Conduct pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections (walkaround checks)
- ✓Ensure loads are secured correctly and within legal weight limits
- ✓Liaise with depot teams and customers regarding deliveries
