Job Description
Role: HGV Driver - Concrete Mixer Salary: £14.75 per hour Overtime and monthly bonus! Location: Scunthorpe area, Lincolnshire We are expanding our team and are currently hiring drivers to join our Concrete Mixer fleet! As a Driver at Ashcourt, you will be contracted to work 40 hours per week. Overtime for this role is paid at a rate of £22.12 per hour for any hours worked beyond the first 45! Key Responsibilities
- ✓Drive HGV/LGV vehicles over planned routes, delivering goods safely and on time
- ✓Complete tachograph records accurately and adhere to drivers' hours regulations
- ✓Conduct pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections (walkaround checks)
- ✓Ensure loads are secured correctly and within legal weight limits
- ✓Liaise with depot teams and customers regarding deliveries
