Job Description
Class 1 Drivers Required in Runcorn Search Recruitment is expanding following a new contract win based in Runcorn. The role involves delivering cages to stores using Double Deck tail lift trailers, ensuring all deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. Key Responsibilities
- ✓Drive HGV/LGV vehicles over planned routes, delivering goods safely and on time
- ✓Complete tachograph records accurately and adhere to drivers' hours regulations
- ✓Conduct pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections (walkaround checks)
- ✓Ensure loads are secured correctly and within legal weight limits
- ✓Liaise with depot teams and customers regarding deliveries
