Job Description
Our client based in Fawley is looking for an experience Roro driver to do skip work. This would be working from approx 6.00am Monday to Friday with overtime after 8 hours The hourly rate is £17.00 and after 8 hours this will increase to £22.00 Drivers must have previous RORO experience and happy to work Monday to Friday on an ongoing basis. Key Responsibilities
- ✓Drive HGV/LGV vehicles over planned routes, delivering goods safely and on time
- ✓Complete tachograph records accurately and adhere to drivers' hours regulations
- ✓Conduct pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections (walkaround checks)
- ✓Ensure loads are secured correctly and within legal weight limits
- ✓Liaise with depot teams and customers regarding deliveries
