Job Description
HGV Class 2 Hi-AB Driver Location : Southend, Essex Days And Hours: Work Pattern: Monday to Friday 7.00am – 5.00pm & alternate Saturdays 7.30am -12.30pm Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities Supervise the loading of the vehicle so that products are safely loaded and secured to minimise chances of damage. Key Responsibilities
- ✓Drive HGV/LGV vehicles over planned routes, delivering goods safely and on time
- ✓Complete tachograph records accurately and adhere to drivers' hours regulations
- ✓Conduct pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections (walkaround checks)
- ✓Ensure loads are secured correctly and within legal weight limits
- ✓Liaise with depot teams and customers regarding deliveries
