Job Description
HGV Class 2 Driver / Yard Person urgently required to join our well established client in the Ballymena area. This is a temporary role expected to last a minimum of 3 months with a possibility of extension, and an immediate start available. This is a full time role, hours of work are Monday - Thursday 0830-1700 & Friday 0830-1600 and a rate of pay of £15 - Negotiable based on experience. Key Responsibilities
- ✓Drive HGV/LGV vehicles over planned routes, delivering goods safely and on time
- ✓Complete tachograph records accurately and adhere to drivers' hours regulations
- ✓Conduct pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections (walkaround checks)
- ✓Ensure loads are secured correctly and within legal weight limits
- ✓Liaise with depot teams and customers regarding deliveries
