Job Description

Work with York Limited are looking to recruit a HGV Class 2 Driver (Waste & Recycling) for the local authority in York with an immediate start. Skills required Current Category B Driving Licence Good customer service skills Able to work independently Experience Driving 7.5 tonne vehicles Job details This is a full time role, 37 hours a week Monday to Friday from 7.00am – 3.00pm. Key Responsibilities

• ✓Drive HGV/LGV vehicles over planned routes, delivering goods safely and on time
• ✓Complete tachograph records accurately and adhere to drivers' hours regulations
• ✓Conduct pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections (walkaround checks)
• ✓Ensure loads are secured correctly and within legal weight limits
• ✓Liaise with depot teams and customers regarding deliveries
