Job Description

Our clinet is looking to recruit for a Class 2 (Category C) Driver to support commercial waste collection services across Telford. Start time: between 04:00am and 06:00am daily Working Hours: likely to be 8 9.5 hours per day with time and a half payable after 8 hours per day Key Responsibilities: Operating a refuse collection vehicle to empty commercial bins on pre-planned routes, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant service delivery Safely operate a Class 2 refuse vehicle on designated rout…

Key Responsibilities

• ✓Drive HGV/LGV vehicles over planned routes, delivering goods safely and on time
• ✓Complete tachograph records accurately and adhere to drivers' hours regulations
• ✓Conduct pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections (walkaround checks)
• ✓Ensure loads are secured correctly and within legal weight limits
• ✓Liaise with depot teams and customers regarding deliveries
