Job Description

Optme Group is looking for experienced Class 2 HGV Drivers to support a major logistics operation at Gatwick Airport. This isn’t long-haul work – you’ll be making short, fixed runs between the Gatwick Consolidation Centre and the Airside Operation. Key Responsibilities

• ✓Drive HGV/LGV vehicles over planned routes, delivering goods safely and on time
• ✓Complete tachograph records accurately and adhere to drivers' hours regulations
• ✓Conduct pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections (walkaround checks)
• ✓Ensure loads are secured correctly and within legal weight limits
• ✓Liaise with depot teams and customers regarding deliveries
