Job Description

Recon Recruitment are currently looking for experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers based in Alfreton, Nottinghamshire with good communication skills for a permanent role. You will be delivering palletised goods in a curtainsider vehicle (12T) to warehouses and industrial areas. Key Responsibilities

• ✓Drive HGV/LGV vehicles over planned routes, delivering goods safely and on time
• ✓Complete tachograph records accurately and adhere to drivers' hours regulations
• ✓Conduct pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections (walkaround checks)
• ✓Ensure loads are secured correctly and within legal weight limits
• ✓Liaise with depot teams and customers regarding deliveries
