Job Description
Reliable HGV Class 2 driver required for local deliveries and collection in the CW area. You will be required to; Conduct basic daily checks of the vehicle, Safely secure the load Keep to correct delivery times Plan your driver breaks Liaise with the office re any issues encountered Use an app to produce Proof of delivery info Deliver palletised goods We will provide any PPE necessary Days only, No nights away Mon-Fri plus one in 5 Saturday mornings on a rota. 45-50 hours per week, overtime ava…
Key Responsibilities
- ✓Drive HGV/LGV vehicles over planned routes, delivering goods safely and on time
- ✓Complete tachograph records accurately and adhere to drivers' hours regulations
- ✓Conduct pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections (walkaround checks)
- ✓Ensure loads are secured correctly and within legal weight limits
- ✓Liaise with depot teams and customers regarding deliveries
