Job Description
Our client is currently recruiting an experienced HGV Class 2 driver to join their busy operation. Working Monday to Friday, you will start daily at 0600 and do deliveries and collections of pharmaceuticals to their depots throughout Birmingham and surounding areas. Average finish time will be Approx. 1600 - 1700 daily depending on the amount of deliveries and traffic but can also be later. You will be required to handball at delivery and collection locations. Key Responsibilities
- ✓Drive HGV/LGV vehicles over planned routes, delivering goods safely and on time
- ✓Complete tachograph records accurately and adhere to drivers' hours regulations
- ✓Conduct pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections (walkaround checks)
- ✓Ensure loads are secured correctly and within legal weight limits
- ✓Liaise with depot teams and customers regarding deliveries
