Job Description
HGV Class 1 Trunk Drivers in Andover. Driver Require are recruiting drivers for Ongoing, Easy depot to depo t work, for one of our renowned clients based in Andover. All applicants must have 2 years experience driving HGV Class 1 vehicles There are a variety of shifts available. This is HGV Class 1 Driver work trunking with pre loaded Double Deck refrigerated trailers returning to Andover daily. Key Responsibilities
- ✓Drive HGV/LGV vehicles over planned routes, delivering goods safely and on time
- ✓Complete tachograph records accurately and adhere to drivers' hours regulations
- ✓Conduct pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections (walkaround checks)
- ✓Ensure loads are secured correctly and within legal weight limits
- ✓Liaise with depot teams and customers regarding deliveries
