Job Description

Connect Appointments is recruiting an HGV Class 1 Tramper Driver for ongoing temporary work with an established logistics business based at Trafford Park. Our client operates a busy long-haul operation, offering consistent Monday to Friday tramping work with four nights out per week and competitive all-inclusive pay rates. What's on offer? Key Responsibilities

• ✓Drive HGV/LGV vehicles over planned routes, delivering goods safely and on time
• ✓Complete tachograph records accurately and adhere to drivers' hours regulations
• ✓Conduct pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections (walkaround checks)
• ✓Ensure loads are secured correctly and within legal weight limits
• ✓Liaise with depot teams and customers regarding deliveries
