Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and conscientious HGV Class 1 Driver to join our small, family-run driver agency on a well-established night trunking route. This is a trunking route running between the Colnbrook/Slough area and South Yorkshire and back each shift, so you should be comfortable with several hours of motorway driving. Key Responsibilities

• ✓Drive HGV/LGV vehicles over planned routes, delivering goods safely and on time
• ✓Complete tachograph records accurately and adhere to drivers' hours regulations
• ✓Conduct pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections (walkaround checks)
• ✓Ensure loads are secured correctly and within legal weight limits
• ✓Liaise with depot teams and customers regarding deliveries
