Job Description

We are looking for an experienced HGV Class 1 driver to join our Specialist Haulage department. Drivers will be expected to travel around the country to deliver customer goods in a safe an professional manner. The position is available from our Aylesford depot. This is for a Artic type vehicle and is subject to nights out. Basic hourly rate is £14.65 per hour with a £15.25 a day HIAB bonus and a 10 hour a day guarantee. Key Responsibilities

• ✓Drive HGV/LGV vehicles over planned routes, delivering goods safely and on time
• ✓Complete tachograph records accurately and adhere to drivers' hours regulations
• ✓Conduct pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections (walkaround checks)
• ✓Ensure loads are secured correctly and within legal weight limits
• ✓Liaise with depot teams and customers regarding deliveries
