Job Description
Hi everyone, We are currently looking for reliable HGV Class 1 drivers to join our team for ongoing work based in Buxton. As always, you will be working through JT Recruit as part of our dedicated driving team. This role covers General Haulage , offering a great mix of work beyond standard RDC-to-RDC trunking. Key Responsibilities
- ✓Drive HGV/LGV vehicles over planned routes, delivering goods safely and on time
- ✓Complete tachograph records accurately and adhere to drivers' hours regulations
- ✓Conduct pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections (walkaround checks)
- ✓Ensure loads are secured correctly and within legal weight limits
- ✓Liaise with depot teams and customers regarding deliveries
