Job Description

HGV Class 1 Driver Permanent, Full Time £30,428 to £35,797 per annum Location: Chelmsford Working Style: Operational field-based worker Closing Date: 9th June 2026 The Role Helping keep the waste services across Essex rolling by collecting containers from any of our 21 RCHW's and taking them to a number of tipping locations based across the county. Key Responsibilities

• ✓Drive HGV/LGV vehicles over planned routes, delivering goods safely and on time
• ✓Complete tachograph records accurately and adhere to drivers' hours regulations
• ✓Conduct pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections (walkaround checks)
• ✓Ensure loads are secured correctly and within legal weight limits
• ✓Liaise with depot teams and customers regarding deliveries
