Job Description
Our client, a long established, market leading, ethical, horse and smallholder feed producer based in Shipdham are seeking a dependable and experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join their busy feed mill. The successful candidate will ideally be available for an immediate start. This is a full-time position, working 37.5 hours a week (plus overtime) Flexibility is required, as you will need to be available for early morning starts. Key Responsibilities
- ✓Drive HGV/LGV vehicles over planned routes, delivering goods safely and on time
- ✓Complete tachograph records accurately and adhere to drivers' hours regulations
- ✓Conduct pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections (walkaround checks)
- ✓Ensure loads are secured correctly and within legal weight limits
- ✓Liaise with depot teams and customers regarding deliveries
