Job Description
Class 1 HGV Driver – Night Out Driver (Hull) Salary: up to £45,596 (without overtime) Basic: £38,860 £2,222 retention bonus (split quarterly) £1,000 annual bump bonus Night Out Payment: £26.20 per night Meal Allowance: £12.00 per shift Overtime: £225 per day Shifts: 4 on 3 off, starting from 2am Applicants must hold a current Class 1 CE licence . Key Responsibilities
- ✓Drive HGV/LGV vehicles over planned routes, delivering goods safely and on time
- ✓Complete tachograph records accurately and adhere to drivers' hours regulations
- ✓Conduct pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections (walkaround checks)
- ✓Ensure loads are secured correctly and within legal weight limits
- ✓Liaise with depot teams and customers regarding deliveries
