Job Description

M4 recruitment are currently recruiting for HGV Class 1 Day drivers for our client based in Hemel Hempstead for store deliveries (max average 8 deliveries) Ongoing Day shifts available 05.30 starts Requirements: Valid Class 1 CE licence, CPC & Tacho No more than 6 points Minimum 24 months' experience of driving Class 1 vehicles due to insurance purposes. Key Responsibilities

• ✓Drive HGV/LGV vehicles over planned routes, delivering goods safely and on time
• ✓Complete tachograph records accurately and adhere to drivers' hours regulations
• ✓Conduct pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections (walkaround checks)
• ✓Ensure loads are secured correctly and within legal weight limits
• ✓Liaise with depot teams and customers regarding deliveries
