Job Description
HGV 1 Drivers - New pass & experienced drivers welcome Temp to Perm | Monday to Friday Guaranteed 48 Hours per Week We are currently recruiting HGV Class 1 (Wagon & Drag) Drivers for a well-established client based in Manchester. This role involves trunking deliveries to a regional depot, returning with a loaded trailer. Full training is provided. Each route typically takes around six hours per run. Key Responsibilities
- ✓Drive HGV/LGV vehicles over planned routes, delivering goods safely and on time
- ✓Complete tachograph records accurately and adhere to drivers' hours regulations
- ✓Conduct pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections (walkaround checks)
- ✓Ensure loads are secured correctly and within legal weight limits
- ✓Liaise with depot teams and customers regarding deliveries
