About This Role

Meriden Media is currently looking for a HGV Class 1 Driver- ADR to join their team in Motherwell, North Lanarkshire. This is a Full-Time position offering £44k - £54k, ideal for professional drivers who take pride in their work and want to be part of a well-established operation.

Job Description

To be successful as the HGV Class 1 Tanker Driver you will: Be able to work as part of a team Be prepared to carry out trunking or same day return to depot routes Be able to interact with internal and external customers Have a high level of Safety Awareness Have possessed an HGV CE licence for a minimum of 3 years with a minimum of 180 days experience within the last two years Possession of DQC (Drivers CPC) Have no more than 3 penalty points on your driving licence Be able to demonstrate exper…

Key Responsibilities

• ✓Drive HGV/LGV vehicles over planned routes, delivering goods safely and on time
• ✓Complete tachograph records accurately and adhere to drivers' hours regulations
• ✓Conduct pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections (walkaround checks)
• ✓Ensure loads are secured correctly and within legal weight limits
• ✓Liaise with depot teams and customers regarding deliveries
