About This Role
Evri is currently looking for a HGV Class 1 Day Driver to join their team in Mossley, Newtownabbey. This is a Full-Time position offering £37k - £55k, ideal for professional drivers who take pride in their work and want to be part of a well-established operation.
As a HGV Class 1 Day Driver, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of the business, ensuring safe and efficient driving duties are carried out to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities
- ✓Drive HGV/LGV vehicles over planned routes, delivering goods safely and on time
- ✓Complete tachograph records accurately and adhere to drivers' hours regulations
- ✓Conduct pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections (walkaround checks)
- ✓Ensure loads are secured correctly and within legal weight limits
- ✓Liaise with depot teams and customers regarding deliveries
