Job Description

The Best Connection are looking to recruit LGV CE, Walking Floor Drivers to work for their client in Durham. This will be to complete day runs, tramping positions also available The role: · Day shift or Tramping · Walking floor work · Average 55-60 hours paid weekly The candidate: · Full, Class 1 UK Driving Licence · CPC Driver Qualification Card · Digi-Card Required · Walking floor experience Shift: · Monday - Friday ( Days or Tramping) · Start time 0600, however can vary Pay rates (PAYE): · £…

Key Responsibilities

• ✓Drive HGV/LGV vehicles over planned routes, delivering goods safely and on time
• ✓Complete tachograph records accurately and adhere to drivers' hours regulations
• ✓Conduct pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections (walkaround checks)
• ✓Ensure loads are secured correctly and within legal weight limits
• ✓Liaise with depot teams and customers regarding deliveries
