Job Description

Our client based in Nursling is currently looking for experienced Cat CE drivers to do Trunking work for the general Haulage Industry or Container work coming from Southampton Docks. There is a 10 hour minimum shift Monday to Friday with opportunities of additional Hours when required. Average start times are between 5am and 8am. £17.00 per hour PAYE . Key Responsibilities

• ✓Drive HGV/LGV vehicles over planned routes, delivering goods safely and on time
• ✓Complete tachograph records accurately and adhere to drivers' hours regulations
• ✓Conduct pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections (walkaround checks)
• ✓Ensure loads are secured correctly and within legal weight limits
• ✓Liaise with depot teams and customers regarding deliveries
