Job Description
Grafters Recruit are Looking for Temp to Perm committed HGV 2 multi drop Drivers, to work on one of our ongoing contracts in Purfleet. BENEFITS: £18.00 per hour minimum 10 hours a day Free on-site parking Automatically enrolled in company pension after 3 months Could potentially lead to a full-time position. DUTIES: My client delivers general groupage of palletised goods to London and the surrounding home counties. On average you will complete 10 - 20 drops a day. Full training will be provided…
Key Responsibilities
- ✓Drive HGV/LGV vehicles over planned routes, delivering goods safely and on time
- ✓Complete tachograph records accurately and adhere to drivers' hours regulations
- ✓Conduct pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections (walkaround checks)
- ✓Ensure loads are secured correctly and within legal weight limits
- ✓Liaise with depot teams and customers regarding deliveries
